ArtsPartners thanks the following in-kind contributors and special supporters for helping build audiences for the ARTS in the Peoria and Central Illinois area:

ArtsPartners gratefully acknowledges WTVP 47 for taping 2-3 minute segments that showcase the work of many of our Peoria area arts groups. WTVP also airs public service announcements regarding upcoming arts events, performances, and exhibits with regional appeal. For all of their efforts to promote how vital the arts are to cultural and economic enrichment in Central Illinois, WTVP was named 2004 ArtsPartner of the Year, an award designed to give special recognition to a business or volunteer that contributes to the arts in an exemplary fashion.

Every Friday during the noon hour, WCBU Program Director Nathan Irwin and ArtsPartners Executive Director Suzette Boulais present Out and About, a 10 minute arts segment that airs on WCBU 89.9 FM and highlights some of the weekend arts events playing in the Peoria area. Every Monday during the noon hour WCBU presents another ArtsPartners segment, Peoria's Hidden Treasures, based on an ArtsPartners publication that gives historical information about Peoria's pieces of public art and sculpture.

Throughout the streets of Peoria are strewn dozens of colorful banners with the theme, "Discover Peoria Arts in Music, Drama, Dance and Exhibits." ArtsPartners thanks the City of Peoria Public Works Department for rotating the locations of these colorful banners and for keeping the Arts flying high on the community agenda.

The Peoria Journal Star newspaper provides a special discount advertising rate for our arts community in the Thursday Cue section. Because of this special discount, more arts groups have been able to adverstise upcoming performances and exhibits.
