SkyArt Peoria

SkyArt Peoria is an initiative of ArtsPartners that promotes local artists’ work through available media space. National Founder Wendy L. Hickey launched the first official ArtPop program in January of 2014 in Charlotte, NC. Since then it has expanded to10 cities across the country. ArtsPartners brought ArtPop to Peoria in 2015, making Peoria the 3rd city in the country to offer this exciting promotional vehicle for local artists. ArtsPartners has since changed the name to SkyArt Peoria! This program is made possible by generous donations of space Adams Outdoor Advertising – Peoria. Work is juried, voted on and promoted in the market on available media space for the winning artists.

Ignite Peoria

Peoria’s Big Bang Celebration of Creativity! This annual free event invites the community to ignite their inner artist by experiencing art, culture, and innovation up close and personal. Featuring over 130 local artists, actors, musicians, sculptors, makers, magicians, cultural performing groups, this event celebrates our culture of creativity, innovation, art, and diversity here in central Illinois. ArtsPartner of the Year

This annual award recognizes exemplary support and service to the local arts which has ultimately resulted in a stronger and more vital cultural arts environment in the Peoria area. ArtsPartners accepts nominations from the public in August and September, and announces the winner at our annual meeting.  ArtsPartners of the Year award winners demonstrate outstanding efforts in the areas of advocacy, education, professional service, volunteer service, or funding of the arts. This weekly radio arts preview gives you a more intimate look at upcoming arts events in the area. Featuring interviews with local arts leaders and performers, the show is co-hosted by ArtsPartners Executive Director Dr. Mae Gilliland Wright and produced by WCBU’s Jody Holtz. ArtsDollar$

ArtsPartners of Central Illinois is pleased to announce a new grant program for Central Illinois organizations and residents called ArtsDollar$. The program is made possible by the Illinois Arts Council Agency’s Community Arts Access grant program. The goal of ArtsDollar$ is to support programs and artists that enrich the quality of life in the Greater Peoria region (Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties) through the arts. It is our mission to make art accessible for all. All art forms and mediums are eligible.
