ArtsPartner of the Year

This annual award recognizes exemplary support and service to the local arts which has ultimately resulted in a stronger and more vital cultural arts environment in the Peoria area. ArtsPartners accepts nominations from the public in August and September, and announces the winner at our annual meeting in October.  ArtsPartners of the Year award winners demonstrate outstanding efforts in the areas of advocacy, education, professional service, volunteer service, or funding of the arts. ArtPop Peoria

Art + Public Outdoor Project = ArtPop!

ArtPop Peoria is an initiative of ArtsPartners that promotes local artists’ work through available media space. National Founder Wendy L. Hickey launched the first official ArtPop program in January of 2014 in Charlotte, NC. Since then it has expanded to10 cities across the country. ArtPartners brought ArtPop to Peoria in 2015, making Peoria the 3rd city in the country to offer this exciting promotional vehicle for local artists. This program is made possible by generous donations of space Adams Outdoor Advertising – Peoria. Work is juried, voted on and promoted in the market on available media space for the winning artists.

The Business of Art

The Business of Art is a one day event designed to connect entrepreneurial artists with business professionals who can help them navigate the world of business. Through seminars and networking, The Business of Art will assist artists of all disciplines with establishing or enhancing their businesses.

Sculpture Walk Peoria

Sculpture Walk Peoria is a one year display of 16 sculptures created by nationally and internationally renowned sculptors. The sculptures can be viewed outdoor in Peoria’s Warehouse District, on Washington Street between State and Fulton. Free guided public tours are available Saturdays from June through October beginning at 10am ad Noon at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. Sculpture Walk Peoria is an initiative of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois, Inc. with the full support of the City of Peoria and private businesses. Out and About

This weekly radio arts preview gives you a more intimate look at upcoming arts events in the area. Featuring interviews with local arts leaders and performers, the show is co-hosted by ArtsPartners Executive Director Jenn Gordon, and Peoria Public Radio’s Nathan Irwin. It is a production of Peoria Public Radio and ArtsPartners of Central Illinois and airs Fridays at 6:50am, 8:50am, and 4:50pm on 89.9 FM (WCBU). Peoria’s Big Bang Celebration of Creativity! This annual free event invites the community to ignite their inner artist by experiencing art, culture, and innovation up close and personal.
